We love small breweries especially local ones. When Brian from BS first started about a year ago Big Hops was the first place in San Antonio to launched both of his beers to great success (Seguin Ale, College Chronic) and they've been staples in our rotating line up ever since.
That said we are proud to bring you a very special cask conditioned beer from BS; a pecan ale brewed with locally bought pecans and honey from Seguin bee keepers. This is the first ever time this beer will be available outside of the brewery.
Join us as we tap Great Divide Brewing Company's 20th Anniversary Ale at 3pm! This Belgian-style Ale is a golden example of the Great Divide's traditional bold character, but with a little something special to commemorate their special milestone. Fermented with Viognier grape juice, 20th Anniversary is both delicate and assertive. Big without being brutish, cunning without being cloying, this is a grown-up beer for a big-time celebration. This event is free to the public, and individual glasses can be purchased at Bar Blanco.
